A wedding is the day when everything should be perfect. Every detail counts, including how the wedding hall looks. Not everyone will be equally attractive. What should you bet on when decorating it, what will look best?
Most of the wedding halls in which weddings are currently held are atmospheric venues. However, not every venue will have exactly the same décor. The decoration should match the style in which we want to hold the wedding. If we add something that conflicts with the colours or other elements in the room, we are unlikely to get an impressive result.
Think about the decorations already at the stage of choosing the hall!
Even just pictures of wedding venues give some idea of what will go with them. If you're dreaming of wooden boxes, old candles and other raw, wooden rustic decorations, don't go for something ultra-modern. Conversely, if you want a modern wedding with designer industrial decorations, a venue where everything harks back to bygone eras is not necessarily the happiest choice. For this reason, it's best to think about what your vision of your ideal wedding is right from the start.
If we dream of a fairytale wedding, let's organise one - just in the right place.
Such an opportunity is offered by the Hotel Quadrille, located in an 18th century palace, where the historic interiors have been extensively renovated, creating a surprising, colourful fairytale-like effect.
In addition, it is a themed hotel where the interiors and decorations allude to 'Alice in Wonderland', and this theme is not absent from weddings either. Such a complete and interesting interior doesn't need much decoration to create a WOW effect, in itself it delights, surprises and invites you to enter another world.
Which decorations are best?
Many wedding halls have some suggestions for decoration, but they often do not match our tastes and expectations. Therefore, it is always advisable to use the services of a florist to help complement the interior and reflect the character of the ceremony.
Surely, a wedding cannot lack fresh flowers - ones that match the style of the wedding party, the decor of the hall, the set colour scheme or the styling of the bride and groom and the stationery they have chosen. The beautiful floral compositions that appear on the wedding tables are a fantastic setting for the whole thing. Sometimes, in fact, nothing more is needed.
In addition to flowers, decorations that brides and grooms like to use include glass candle holders, bottles or vases sometimes additionally illuminated. Various paper decorations such as vignettes, boxes, welcome notes matching the colour scheme of the table are also frequently considered. Decorations made of fabric, metal and wood will also have a good effect. If our wedding is in summer or autumn, seasonal fruit and vegetables can play the role of decoration on the tables; there are florists who specialise in such edible bouquets. The most important thing is to be consistent, and sometimes less is more - subtle, well-chosen decorations do not have to be inferior to those full of splendour, it is the idea that counts.
In the event that you are interested in a themed wedding, such as the one at the Hotel Quadrille or others, it is best to ensure that the decorations are related to this. Such a suggestion is good if you have a certain distance and sense of humour and are looking for something truly original. Chess figures, large-format cards or props, or even a performance carried out by professional actors in stylish disguise... all of these are sure to be appreciated by our guests and to remain in their memories for a long time.
Regardless of where and what kind of wedding we want to organise, we need to remember moderation. It is impossible to accommodate all the decorations and ideas in one place. An excess of decorations will spoil the whole effect, which is why it is worth relying on the opinion of specialists - the florist and the person in charge of the hall.
