Is a winter wedding the new trend? Brides and grooms planning a wedding usually choose dates in the summer. For years there has been a strong conviction in the Polish consciousness that the most beautiful wedding can only be organised in summer, or possibly early autumn. This makes it necessary to book a wedding venue several years in advance. Some couples wait patiently, others choose available dates and decide to get married in winter. Until recently, it was thought that a winter wedding was the domain of individualists who like to stand out from the crowd and couples who were forced to make a decision due to exceptional circumstances. Recently, however, this is beginning to change. Couples are increasingly opting for the winter months as they offer opportunities that summer cannot. Why overcome your inner fears and organise your wedding in winter? See for yourself!

A wedding in winter has a unique charm!

There are many advantages to a winter wedding, and anyone who has attended a snowy ceremony at least once will confirm without hesitation that such a party provides a lot of emotions and unforgettable experiences. Any Couple who dreams of a romantic wedding should consider dates that are usually out of the public eye... The main reason why Brides and Grooms are so reluctant to decide on a winter wedding is, of course, the cold, snow and early sunset. This makes us dismiss the winter months outright, not realising that the features that seem to us to be the biggest downsides could turn out to be the upside of a winter wedding!

It gets dark quickly in winter, but... candles create an intimate and very romantic atmosphere!

During autumn and winter, it gets dark quickly, making us plagued by fears that our wedding day will appear grey and gloomy... However, we forget that every wedding reception is centred around a romantic and intimate atmosphere. Isn't it the case that the intimate atmosphere only sets in when it gets dark outside the window? Only then does the prevailing aura outside, create a unique atmosphere that is conducive to the wedding setting. So we go to great lengths to plan atmospheric lighting and take care of the setting, instead of taking advantage of what nature offers us in winter. In summer, the intimate atmosphere comes only late in the evening, but if we choose a winter wedding, it can accompany us from the very first moments of the celebration!

Atmospheric, wintry, magical....

When organising a wedding in winter, we can also plan a romantic ceremony in the garden, with candlelight and atmospheric garlands. We can perform the first dance on a darkened dance floor, amid sparkling cold fires. Imagine a winter wedding, drenched in candlelight, full of the wonderful scents of cinnamon, citrus, clove and vanilla. Just add mulled wine, gingerbread and nuts... and your winter wedding will have a unique charm, like in a fairy tale! Isn't a wedding like this magical?

It may be cold in winter, but... it will allow you to prepare some unusual attractions and decorations!

Another advantage of a winter wedding is the fairytale setting that we will create with very few decorations. Although it can be difficult to get decorations of fresh flowers in winter, as they are bound to be very expensive, by getting married on Christmas Day, we can avoid this problem. By Christmas, the church will already be festively decorated, which provides a special atmosphere. We can also decorate the wedding hall with a Christmas tree, coloured lights, pinecones and artificial snow. And if we are lucky and the world is covered in snow on the wedding day, the ceremony will take place in a fairytale setting!

How about a themed wedding?

Only in winter can we organise a 'Snow Queen' style wedding! All the bride has to do is put on a glittering tiara and a tulle wedding dress decorated with crystals. On the tables you can set candles, scatter a bit of glitter, sparkling pearls and crystals, hang lights and snowflakes behind the bride and groom, and everything around will sparkle fabulously! A winter wedding also allows us to prepare original wedding attractions for our guests! We can hire sleighs, horse-drawn carriages, organise a sleigh ride, or order extravagant ice sculptures. We certainly can't count on such a magical atmosphere in summer....

A winter wedding may be snowy, but... no one else will have wedding photographs like this!

When organising a winter wedding, you need to be prepared for heavy snowfall... isn't that great! There will be the opportunity to create countless unique wedding photographs! During the outdoor session, the bride and groom can perform as the Snow Queen and the wedding photos can become great fun for the guests! An unusual souvenir will be group photographs under the Christmas tree or other winter decorations. Only a few can boast of such photos from the wedding. Such atmospheric photos are not only a perfect keepsake, but can also replace traditional Christmas cards every year! You can use them to create unique and original postcards to thank your loved ones for attending and enjoying your wedding. Your guests will certainly appreciate the gesture and the beautiful, stylised wedding photos will adorn many a family photo album.
